Service · Smart home
Smart home, built into the walls.
Smart homes fail when they are an afterthought. We wire for them while the walls are open, all on Matter, the open standard backed by Apple, Google, Samsung and Amazon, and implement them with Home Assistant, Aqara, or both.

- Standard: Matter. Control from Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa, changeable any time.
- Brain: an Aqara Hub M3 in every home, and a Home Assistant server in the Comfort and Complete packages.
- Wiring during renovation: S$800 to S$2,500 on a 4-room flat, and several times that afterwards.
- Whole home: roughly S$6,000 to S$18,000 on top of the renovation for a 4-room HDB; S$15,000 to S$35,000 for a 3-bedroom condo with track lighting and every window motorised.
- No subscriptions: Matter, Apple Home, Google Home and Home Assistant have no monthly fee.
What we wire before the walls close
- Neutral wire to every switch box. Without it, smart switches either need batteries or flicker, and you are stuck with no-neutral models forever.
- Empty conduit to every corner where a sensor, camera or speaker might go in the next ten years.
- A 13A power point inside every pelmet for curtain motors, and one behind every TV wall.
- A concealed 48V driver location above the false ceiling for track and cove lighting, with an access panel.
- LAN and power at the DB box, with a ventilated recess, for the hub and a Home Assistant server.
- Cat6A from the DB box to at least two points in the flat for Wi-Fi access points. Do not rely on mesh over air through the household shelter.
The full list, with why each one matters, is in the wiring checklist.
Three layers
Matter
Every device speaks one language, whatever the brand. It runs locally, so lights respond when the internet is down. Why Matter
Home Assistant
Open-source and local-first: automations run on a small box in your DB cabinet and keep working offline. Our default is Home Assistant as the brain with Apple Home or Google Home as the family’s app. Platform comparison
Aqara
Matter-compatible sensors, switches, locks and curtain motors. We install the Global set bought through the Singapore distributor and register it for warranty. China vs Global set

Guides
Questions people ask
Do I need a neutral wire for smart switches in Singapore?
For the best switches, yes. No-neutral switches exist but can flicker with LEDs and limit your choice. If you are rewiring, pull a neutral to every switch box; it costs far less now than later.
Can smart home wiring be done after renovation?
Some of it, at a much higher cost and with visible trunking. Neutrals and pelmet points are the hardest to add later. Conduits, if they exist, make later additions cheap.
Does Matter work without internet?
Yes. Matter is designed for local control. Scenes and commands run inside your home network. Internet is only needed for remote access and voice assistants that process speech in the cloud.
How much does Home Assistant installation cost in Singapore?
Hardware is S$300 to S$600. Setup is included in our Comfort and Complete packages; standalone setup by installers typically runs S$500 to S$1,500 depending on the number of devices and automations.
Can a resale flat become a smart home?
Yes — renovation is the best time. We run neutral wires and conduits during rewiring, then set up Matter devices with Home Assistant, Aqara or both. No subscriptions, no vendor lock-in.
